Do you need access to electricity?+
Standard requirements include 110-120V household outlets (standard 3-prong), 15-20 amp circuit capacity, and GFCI (ground fault) outlets recommended for outdoor use. Grounded outlets (3-prong) are required—two-prong outlets don't provide adequate safety.
Distance from outlet to setup ideally stays within 50 feet. We can accommodate 50 feet (we provide heavy-duty extension cords) up to 50 feet maximum. Beyond 50 feet may require multiple cords that you would provide.
Multiple inflatables may need multiple circuits. Two inflatables often work on one dedicated 20-amp circuit. Three or more inflatables likely need outlets from different circuit breakers. Discuss rental quantities during booking and we'll advise on power planning.
If I am renting a waterslide, does it include long water hose?+
Our waterslides have their one short water hose but we will need to use your regular garden hose. Waterslides do not include long water hoses.
How do you ensure the inflatables are safe for kids?+
Safety is our top priority. All of our inflatables are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, inspected, and securely anchored before each rental. We follow manufacturer guidelines and industry safety standards for setup and operation.
Our team is trained to properly install each inflatable and will review important safety rules with you at delivery. We recommend adult supervision at all times while children are using the inflatable.
To help ensure a safe experience, we ask that riders follow posted safety rules, avoid rough play, and separate participants by age and size when appropriate. For the safety of all guests, Rent A Jumper adheres strict weather and supervision guidelines for all rentals. Inflatables must be turned off and cleared if wind speeds reach 15 mph or higher. Tents must be evacuated in strong winds or during lightning and thunderstorms. Adult supervision is required at all times while equipment is in use. If weather conditions become unsafe, all participants must exit the equipment immediately until conditions improve.

Can you set up the inflatable in the front or side yard?+
Yes, we can set up inflatables in your front or side yard as long as the space meets the required size, is clear of obstacles, and is safely accessible for installation and equipment stays safe overnight and under your responsibility.
We’ll need a flat area with enough clearance from trees, fences, power lines, and other structures. When booking, please let us know which yard you prefer so we can confirm it works for the specific inflatable you’re renting.
Our team will also assess the site upon arrival to ensure it is suitable and safe for setup. Fenced backyard is preferably. Sometimes we can accommodate your request, as long as equipment is safe due to staying under customers' responsibility. Feel free to ask me!

How far in advance should I book my rental?+
Last-minute availability does exist! Call us even if your event is this weekend—we often have equipment available, particularly for weekday events or during less busy seasons.
For most residential birthday parties and small events, booking 2-4 weeks in advance provides good equipment availability. However, timing varies significantly by season and event type.
Spring and summer (March-August) represent peak party season in Central Florida. Weekend dates during these months should be booked 6-8 weeks ahead minimum. Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day weekends often book 2-3 months in advance.
Fall and winter (September-February) offer better availability with 3-4 weeks typically sufficient for most dates. Holiday weekends still require earlier booking.
School field days and church festivals should book 3-6 months ahead, especially for April and May events when demand peaks. Large institutional events require longer planning timelines anyway, making early booking practical.

Can I cancel or reschedule my reservation?+
Cancellation and rescheduling policies balance fairness to customers with operational realities of reserving equipment and scheduling crews exclusively for your date.
More than 14 days before your event: Choose full refund of all payments minus $50 administrative fee, OR full deposit credit toward any future rental with no fee deducted (most customers choose this option).
7-14 days before your event: Receive 50% refund of all payments made, OR full deposit credit toward future rental within 6 months.
Less than 7 days before your event: No refund available, but receive 50% of deposit amount as credit toward future rental within 6 months.
Day-of cancellation: No refund and no credit available. Full payment remains due.
Free rescheduling (one time) for non-severe-weather reasons is available when made more than 7 days before your event. Reschedule to any available date within 12 months. Less than 7 days before events incurs $50 rescheduling fee.
Severe weather cancellations (official warnings) qualify for full refunds or free rescheduling to any date with no time restrictions regardless of cancellation timing.
What power requirements do inflatables have?+
Standard requirements include 110-120V household outlets (standard 3-prong), 15-20 amp circuit capacity, and GFCI (ground fault) outlets recommended for outdoor use. Grounded outlets (3-prong) are required—two-prong outlets don't provide adequate safety.

Blower operation requires blowers running continuously during equipment use. Never turn off blowers while guests are using inflatables. Keep electrical connections dry, don't allow anyone to touch or adjust blowers, and never block blower intake or exhaust openings.
Lightning safety demands unplugging all blowers immediately at first lightning sighting as critical electrical safety protocol.
What happens if it rains?+
If weather conditions are unsafe, customers may request a rain check with at least 48 hours’ notice. Rain checks are valid for up to 6 months from initial booking.
Are deposits refundable?+
All payments and deposits are non-refundable. Once a reservation is made, the equipment and date are reserved exclusively for your event.
Are there items that are not allowed on inflatables?+
Yes. Silly string is not permitted on or near inflatables. Only water-based face paint may be used. Oil-based products can permanently damage equipment. No food, no drinks, no shoes.
